MDTC Monthly Meetings
The Marshfield Democratic Town Committee (MDTC) meets twice a month, on the first Saturday for organizing meetings and the third Thursday for business meetings.
Organizing meetings is a social activity open to the public. A committee member plans engagement events, hears lectures from invited guests, and makes plans for future activities. Meetings are informal and last about an hour. Refreshments are provided in the form of coffee and donuts, which are provided by the committee from a local coffee shop.

At the Marshfield DTC December organizational meeting, the committee will be hearing about a proposal for the Massachusetts Democratic Party called the Healthy Democracy Proposal. The proposal focuses on three fronts: full inclusion, increased engagement, and more competitive primaries. To download a copy of the proposal, (click here).
On the third Thursday of the month, committee members meet to go over the business of the committee. This includes updates from committee teams as well as the treasurer's report and minutes. Committee members vote on financial issues and the direction the committee will go in. Members can attend in person or virtually.
