The Marshfield DTC is attempting to change the tone of politics in Marshfield by hosting
civic engagement events. Civic engagement events are mini volunteer opportunities that improve the community we live in. In February, the committee is hosting a food drive for the Marshfield food pantry. (click here for more info)
The committee is organizing a Day of Action to promote the food drive. Participants in the Day of Action will invite voters in their neighborhood, therefore boosting awareness of the drive. If you participate in the day of action, you will receive instructions, a contact script, an invitation to the event, and a contact list for 50 Democratic households in your neighborhood. The invitation also includes information about upcoming town meetings and elections.
You can do the outreach however you want; to help with this, the committee will provide
invitations in a wide range of media formats. You can call your neighbors using provided call scripts. Postcard invitations can be sent through postal mail or dropped off at your neighbor's door. You can send electronic PDF invites via email, text, or post on social media. Use whatever method you feel most comfortable with.
