Democratic candidates seeking to be on the September primary ballot must collect signatures from voters on their nomination papers. Signing the nomination papers is a crucial aspect of the election process. Candidates who do not collect enough signatures will be excluded from the Democratic Primary ballot and will be unable to run for office.
