Civic Engagement

Every year the Marshfield Democratic Town Committee hosts civic engagement events as part of our voter outreach effort. The town committee's motto is "do good often," and the committee implements it by hosting four events that are volunteer opportunities per year. This year the committee's civic engagement events are the summer blood drive for the American Red Cross, the autumn food drive, the winter veterans' coat drive, and the spring Earth Day cleanup. Volunteers participate in these events by clicking on the links below.

Neighborhood Outreach

To promote the donation drives in Marshfield The committee does a neighborhood outreach program. You can join our team of volunteers by inviting 50 of your Democratic neighbors to donate to the event. The invitation can be delivered however you feel most comfortable. The committee provides a contact list and invitations in a wide range of formats. You can mail your neighbor postcards, deliver invites to their door, call them, or send an electronic invitation to your neighbor. The committee would need your help with the neighborhood outreach. Past Donation Drive

The Marshfield Democratic Town Committee finished the year by hosting the annual veterans coat drive last weekend. At the second annual veterans coat drive, the committee once again had an amazing turnout from people donating winter clothing. The team is currently distributing donations to local charities (click to play video)
