Civic Engagement events

The Marshfield Democratic Town Committee(DTC ) has had great success with the voter outreach program for civic engagement events. Civil engagement events are mini-volunteer opportunities and hosted by Democratic Town Committees to improve our community. In 2025, the committee will continue to host these civic engagement events.

Food Drive

The Marshfield DTC hosted a food drive in October. The committee collected 12 carriages of food for the Marshfield food pantry.

Veterans Coat Drive

The Marshfield DTC hosted a veterans coat drive in December 2024. The committee was able to collect over 500 coats for kids, both men and women, plus hats, gloves, scarves, socks, and underwear.

American Red Cross Blood Drive

The Marshfield DTC hosted a blood drive in May to benefit the American Red Cross. People took time out of their busy Memorial Day to give the gift of life by donating blood. The event exceeded expectations, generating a lot of positive vibes and having a positive impact on our community.

Earth Day clean up

No Place for Hate Rally

The Marshfield DTC hosted a "No Place for Hate!" rally at Dandelion Park in Marshfield Center. The rally was to show support for diversity in our community. It was well attended and received an incredible positive response from the town.

Refugee donation drive

The Marshfield DTC was excited to support the Norwell DTC's donation drive to collect baby supplies for newly arrived refugee families. The community was so generous the team filled two cars with donations. The shelter staff and immigrants are incredibly grateful and send their thanks.
