Due to winter vacation, the Marshfield Democratic Town Committee is moving the business team meeting date from the 3rd Thursday of the month to the 4th Thursday. The February business team meeting will be on Thursday, February 27th, from 6:30 to 7pm. You can attend in person or virtually; links are below.
The Marshfield Democratic Town Committee Business Meeting is February 27, 2025, at 6:30 PM in person at the Ventress Library or virtually via Zoom. The agenda for the meeting includes scheduling of the 2025 caucus for the convention, reviewing winter civic engagement events, planning for spring civic engagement events, and political engagement events.Please attend and RSVP so the committee can have an accurate estimation of the number of people attending.

Help promote the food drive
The Marshfield Democratic Town Committee is hosting its second food drive to benefit the Marshfield food pantry. The Pantry has been around for over 35 years, providing a vital service to 200 of Marshfield Residence in need of assistance. Please consider donating food and supporting the 2025 winter food drive.

The real world
Getting the word out the old-fashioned way in the community, a person-to-person contact is easily the most effective way to build awareness. For this reason the committee has created flyers and palm cards that you can distribute. These are available for download in both color and black and white.

The first campaign newsletter email of 2025 has been sent. Included in this month's email is an MBTA zoning forum hosted by Halifax DTC on Wednesday and a volunteer recruitment phone/text bank hosted by Marshfield DTC on Thursday night. Plus a lot of other cool stuff. (Banned Book Club and People's March)
