The Democratic Town Committee of Marshfield is once again hosting a year-end Veterans Coat Drive on Saturday, December 27, at the public library. Starting in 2023, committee members and members of the community collected over 500 coats and winter clothing. Then in 2024 the committee collected over a thousand articles of winter clothing. We all know it's going to be a bad winter this year, so it's important that the committee beat the record it set last year. Please participate by donating winter clothing, and if you can, volunteer to help.

The committee is looking for gently used and new winter clothing for women and men in all adult sizes. This clothing drive is for veterans and their families; children's clothing is particularly appreciated. Hats, gloves, and scarves are always welcome contributions to this drive, along with new underwear and socks. So if you're getting new clothing this holiday season, please remember the veterans and donate your old stuff to the donation drive.
