Help us grow the pro-democracy movement in
Southeastern Massachusetts.
Last weekend millions of Americans joined the National Day of Action and created the largest one-day protest in the history of the country by participating in No King rallies. In southeastern Massachusetts, there were over 14 events, and the combined attendance at these events was larger than at King Trump's birthday celebration in Washington, DC. The key to the success of the pro-democracy movement is to keep growing it and getting more people involved.
This week there are some great events that you can participate in and invite your friends to attend.
The good news from this weekend is the pro-democracy movement is quickly approaching the tipping point for non-violent movements. Historically, nonviolent movements that can break the threshold of 3.5% community involvement and maintain that level of support achieve their goals. With the total number of attendees at the rallies all over the country being estimated at between 2 and 3.5%, momentum has definitely shifted in favor of the pro-democracy movement. This means our movement has a new problem: sustaining and growing the movement.
The best way to support the pro-democracy movement is to commit to attending an upcoming event or participating in a volunteer opportunity this summer. On a weekly basis, the team produces a list of forthcoming events, which are then sent out in a broadcast email to over 8,000 activists in Southeast Massachusetts and appear on this site. Take a look at the list below, and if anything seems interesting, click the link to RSVP. To get the weekly schedule in the newsletter, sign up by clicking here.

Attending the event is the first step you can take to help. The second step is to raise awareness about the pro-democracy movement in your network of friends, neighbors, and family members. The reason the team needs your aid raising awareness is that the movement is not receiving any local media coverage. This fact makes you indispensable in expanding the pro-democracy movement in Southeastern Massachusetts.
