Summer Blood Drive

The Marshfield Democratic Town Committee hosted the third annual blood drive in August as part of the committee's civic engagement event series. This year our committee had over 30 donors and 8 volunteers help out with the blood drive for the American Red Cross. In summertime, blood donations significantly drop off despite the needs increasing, so Marshfield's contribution was greatly appreciated. The committee is asking people in our network to join our team for the next civic engagement Halloween weekend on October 31st, where we're going to be doing a food drive for the Marshfield food pantry.

This is the Third blood drive that the Committee has done.  The committee needs your help making this year's drive successful. Please ask people in your network to donate blood and consider volunteering to help the day of the event.

The Marshfield Democratic Town Committee needs volunteers to help with the blood drive. If you are interested, the committee is looking for people to volunteer to be greeters and help people after they donate. There are three shifts on Tuesday, August 25th: 12:00 to 2:30 PM, 2:00 to 4:00 PM, and 4:00 to 6:30 PM. (Click here to RSVP)
